pontoon carpet

Newbie here. Hello to all. I just bought some new carpet for a pontoon I'm restoring. It was shipped folded over and has some wrinkles in it. I laid it out on the boat for a day in my barn out of the weather. Checked it the next day and it still has some wrinkles. My question is do you think when glued down it will take the wrinkles out. Thanks for any replys!!

Add heat

Pull the toon out in the sun. Let the sun warm up the carpet. It will flatten right out.

Also keep in mind that much of the carpet will likely be covered by furniture. As long as the creases aren't in walkways, they don't matter too much.
