pontoon deck joint sealer?

So, I had ordered a bunch of hardware to start putting the deck on my pontoon. In the jumble, I forgot to order the deck joint tape (see link below). I was planning on starting tomorrow...still want to start tomorrow. Is there a decent alternative that I could pick up at Lowes or Home Depot? I have some EDPM, but not enough to do continuous 8'+/- lengths. I don't know if that would even be a good option...

Any help/advice would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Looks like the stuff I use to use around pipes to silence them from hitting the studs. I don't know if it's the same but it was good stuff. I use to get it from a plumbing supply house but HD has it also.

duplicate post system seems buggy still.

Problem solved. Turns out the shop at work has 25' rolls of weather-resistant neoprene/edpm/sbr foam in stock. 1/4" instead of 1/8" thick, but it compresses quite a bit, so the thickness wont be an issue.

Work commences on schedule!
