pontoon deck

I have a '95 Voyager SC Pontoon boat. Can anyone<br />tell me what the deck is made of? I am going<br />to install mounting hardware for a ladder this<br />weekend and was wondering what type of screw to<br />use. Also does anyone know if Voyager has a web site?

I have a 98 Voyager and the deck is made of marine plywood. I havent measure it but I would guess 5/8 or 3/4. Here is their Website:<br /><br /> http://www.voyagerboats.net/

if you can get to the bottom side, it's far better to thru-bolt the ladder using large bolts and fender washers rather than just screwing it down--it'll be under a lot of force when someone's weight is on it and the bolts will not pull out of the wood
