Pontoon Trailer Brake Hoses

I am getting ready to start a winter project on my pontoon trailer of replacing all the braking components of my trailer. I have a TrackerMarine tandem axle trailer with hydraulic surge brakes on both axles. I had noticed near the end of the summer, the trailer brakes weren't acting properly. After parking the boat for the winter and inspecting the brakes thoroughly, I found they had been severly neglected by the previous owner. I went through and wrote down everything I would need to get them in proper functioning condition before spring. I have purchased a brand new actuating coupler, new wheel cylinders, and shoes. All the stainless lines are in good shape, had them inspected by a certified mechanic. Now lies my problem. When looking for the flexible hoses to go from my stainless lines to the wheels and the coupler, I can't find these things anywhere. I took an old one to several local parts stores, but since I don't have a year model vehicle to reference, they will not look for an equivilant. I have been looking online, but still can't seem to find what I'm needing for my repair. I want this done right so I need the right supplies. So, if anyone can help me out or at least point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.

The hoses I need are flexible 24" hoses with 3/8"-24 male and female ends.

Just take your old ones to your local hose supply house. They can make up anything you need. Mine set me back about 40.00 to change and it took them 15 minutes to do. You'll get a better quality hose also.

Find an auto supply parts house where the counter people are over the age of 18. Most of these kids have no idea how to look for parts or how to use cross-reference material. Any trailer supply firm can fix you up as well. This is pretty standard stuff.

Thanks for the info. I never thought of having the hoses made, that would probably be my best option. Appreciate the help.

FWIW, I have a great trailer supply house in my neck of the woods, but when I can't get there I go to NAPA to have hoses made up. That's where one is most likely to find the kind of counter Silvertip described. Welcome aboard.
