Thought I would post this here in case someone thought it useful.
Ive got a 25ft tritoon I’ve been learning to London the trailer. It has proven interesting to say the least. Dented the inside of the pontoons a little while learning. My vertical guide bunks have 2x4s but are flat. So the skinnier side contacts the toon. I decided to head to Lowe’s and add some $15 wheel barrel wheels to each side at the rear of the trailer to help guide the nose onto the bottom bunks. Worked like a charm!
Loaded with 17mph sideways wind. The wheels have plenty of give in case the wind pushes the toon into them, so it won’t dent them. They guided me on the bottom bunks and easily got me centered.
Fastened the wheels with a galvanized bolt through the wood, and through the eye of the support.
