Pontoon trolling motor mounts?

What’s a good trolling motor mount, for the front of the pontoon? Anyone run a rear trolling motor?

Trying to find something that won’t be “in the way” so much. Will need to be quick detach for party days and what-not, it’s really too bad there isn’t an under the belly trolling motor setup yet.

Reason I ask is a buddy wants me to buy his 24v minnkota terrova with a helix 7 for 1500. Pretty much brand new as he only used it for 1 summer. What’s the best solution to not interrupt the front door?

I don’t see an edit button, but I should add I would like it to tuck under the deck if possible stowed, and I can keep it full vertical up while underway. There’s gotta be a way to do this, we are cloning sheep.

without seeing your boat, we are operating blind and guessing
however you want a foldable mount that detaches quickly..... as in custom and expensive

I would get two log-mounted trolling motors and go that route myself

Minn kota has a quick removable mount that would mount in the front, under the door cut out.
You do need to make sure that the trolling motor has enough thrust and also a long enough shaft for your pontoon. If it's underpowered it won't do you any good. If the shaft is too short the trolling motor won't work well either.
