Pool ??

I have one of those easy up pool setups with the inflatable ring at the top..Ive had it for 5 or 6 years now and havent had to much trouble until now. The inflatable ring has been patched a couple of times in the past for small holes and such, well I have a leak in this thing and for the life of me cannot find it, Ive held every patch underwater to see if any leak with no luck, Ive even held the end with the connector to inflate the pool underwater with no luck... Im guessing the leak is on the outside of the ring where I cant get it held under water..

Im trying to find a way to find this small leak, I envision a fogger of some kind, to inflate the ring and where the smoke comes out is the leak, or something along those lines...I thought about colored water maybe red or yellow, but it would be a pain to get all of that water out of the ring, if not impossible ..

I know we have some pretty damn smart people lurking around these pages, anybody have any idea on what I can use to "find" this leak?

Re: Pool ??

I can't help you wirh your issue, but I upgraded from one of the blue ring pools to one of the metal frame pools from the same company (Intex) and it is WORLDS better. Still easy to set up and sturdier. No worries of stepping on the side and letting all the water out. Much more tolerant of slightly sloping ground as well.

Re: Pool ??

Try this:
Make up some soapy water and put in a spray bottle and spray outside of ring any leaks should show bubbles.

Had the same kind of pool. Slow leak was the valve. Hose clamp and automotive valve stem worked. I too traded mine for the metal frame type; not much more money, but a lot less headache.

Re: Pool ??

get a can of "fix-a- flat" :)

put that in there and more air than it needs to move that stuff around
