Poor idle, excessive smoke, plugs fouled

Been getting harder and harder to start. Especially in cold weather. Once started I have to bring rpms up with the throttle in order to "clear it out". The smoke covers the boat. It's a "whitish/blue" smoke and it does not disipate like steam. Just looks like normal 2 stroke smoke, but, CLOUDS OF IT.
Sometimes it will idle for a minute or so, but, only if the motor is still tilted up "slightly" from unloading off the trailer. If I trim it down to launch...it dies and it won't idle at all in that position.
I've been having to battle with it to get it started...rev,rev,rev....hold my breath....then kick it in gear to get out of the no wake zone and LAUNCH right away. Once up and running...it goes great and I don't seem to have "so much" of that problem the rest of the day.
Yesterday it would not idle at all. Seemed to rev in neutral just fine....but...try to go and it constant bog under a load. It would not pull itself up on plane.

Took it home, inspected the plugs. They were black, wet, and sort of looked like they were "gas fouled". I changed em, went back, and it helped CONSIDERABLY.

Still, rough idle, and it would die if trimmed all the way down/in/under. I have a feeling that the new plugs are going to look like the old ones in just a few weeks.
Motor has between 100lb and 105lbs compression on each cylinder. Runs great once it's headed down the lake on plane.
Any ideas as to what might be causing this?

It sounds like your primer is manually on. It's a black cylinder about the size of a D-cell battery with a funky-shaped red lever on it. If it's even the slightest bit out of position, it will dump fuel into the motor at all RPMs. At higher RPMs, it won't make nearly as much impact on running as it will at idle. It would be akin to running with a choke stuck closed.
