89 stratos 279fs with an 89 evvinrude 120 v4<br /><br />need some assistance in pin pointing my problem. took the boat out this morning and around 4000rpm (running great by the way) it acted as if all power to the prop was gone. the best way to describe the problem is cruising along in your car at 35 and putting your transmission in neutral very easy. but the boat doesnt actually jump out of gear. once i backed off the throttle and let the boat set back down on the water, it would take of fine then do the same thing a few minutes later when i opened the throttle. <br />after reading my own post, i am even more confused than what i was when i sat down here. any questions to help clarify this confusion, please ask!!
