Hello all. During the reassembly process of a 88 350/260 MIE inboard, (1988 Sea Ray 300 Weekender, Port side engine) I noticed the tranny cooling hoses had some cracks and splits due to age. So I have new ones ready to go.

My question is, While I believe the tranny cooler mounts to the port side lower engine mount bolt, I cannot tell what the factory routing of the hoses should be. The female hose nipples come up and out of the tranny pointing to the starboard side of the engine. The original hoses looked as if they were bent in a large radius to go to the port side of the aft end of the engine and the up to the cooler. Should they go under the starboard side of the engine then under theoil pan to the cooler on the port side? Silly question I know, But not many pics of this floating around.

Thanks as always,
Jim

This picture is in manual #9. Looks like they go over the tranny, under the starter, and to the cooler.
