I just got a 1996 21.5ft seaswirl stiper with the volvo 5.0 and cobra sx outdrive. boat is super clean, but it apparantly has a cooling issue or was not winterized properly. when I hook up the muffs and run it, water is not coming out of the prop like i am used too. It is pumping water because I was leaking around the thermostat which is another story in itself. The motor sounds great but after about 5 minutes it gets up above 180. i have some hot water coming coming out around the bilge drain plug but not really coming out of the prop. my question is, with this setup, should i be really pumping water out of the prop when running on the muffs? If so, and I am not where would you start? Thanks in advance for your time, and sorry for the long winded first post.
