e and a good friend are buying a boat together. We found one we really like. It is an open bowrider. We are mainly going to use it for bay fishing/crabbing. When not used for fishing he will use for his wife and kids, or when I take the g/f out.
1986 19' Crestliner - Bowrider
asking 2k.
Any thoughts if this is a good price? The motor is a 115 HP Mercury 'Tower of Power'with low hrs he has only used in fresh water. New Bimini top. Recently replaced trailer hubs and bearings.
The transom is solid, there are no soft spots in the floor except the guy said there a 1inchx2inch soft spot by the drivers seats? Should I be concerned
Anything else I should look for? I am new to boats. The guy said we will be able to hear run with ear muffs on. I will not be able to test the boat on water.
I am mechanically inclined so any info would help
also nada is showing the value at 1350, but with the cockpit cover bimini top, bow cover nada is 1800
