Possible economy

I have a 16ft speed boat with a 70HP, 3 cyl, '82 Merc (total 1400lbs), say two people on board (360lbs)and 25ltr (6gal) of fuel what do you think my possible range could be.<br />Trying to work out the available fishing spots<br /><br />Cheers<br /><br />Mark

You could expect to burn 6 gallons/hour at wide open throttle. 3 to 4 gallons at 2/3 to 3/4 throttle.
