posting pics

how do i post a pic on this forum , unlike the other forum i belong to alls i do is up load the pics from my p.c that i have saved, is there some kind of dierctions to walk me though in getting pics posted on this forum?

You can upload small pics directly-- when you post go down to "Additional Options"-- "Attach files". But you cna't post very large pics. I think the limit is 70k. A better option is to sign up for Photobucket or similar pic upload acct. and post pics form that using the IMG tag. There's a sticky in the "Non-Boating Technical Topics" section of the forum explaining how to post pics.

i did find the attachment area but it doesn't work of down load is that because the file is to big, dosn't tell you.

ok that was a test , just did the photo bucket option hope it works for ather pics.

If the pics are small enough you can insert a website img in your post.

Above your post box where the B, I, U etc are, is a yellow box, when you hover over it says, insert image. Click that and put the url in.

seems pretty ezy but in the photo bucket site it give you an option to down size the oic fro m small to large to full screen i tryed large should i keep going down till the pic gets smaller?

You might want to go a little smaller-- in my 17" monitor at 1024 x 768 I have to scroll side to side a little to see the whole pic.
