Potty Talk---porta style

What's the consensus on porta potties? I just picked up a 24' Four Winns with shower and head. There are two hoses, one small for water, and one larger assuming for waste that lead into the toilet area. Don't get me wrong, it's not a flow thru bottom, the hoses come out of the wall. Should I find a potty that utilizes these hoses, or get a removable electric one? With 3 girls, there will be no manual flushing if they can help it.

I'd say go with whatever YOU are most comfortable cleaning/pumping out.

Not my favorite thing to do, but it has to be cleaned out one way or another.
Are the self contained ones sufficient?

A legal MSD setup will cost you a bit of money. I would "go" with a portable.

We have a porta-potti with a pumpout connection. It gets used every trip and it's easy to deal with pumping it out when it's full. It can sit with waste in it for weeks at a time before it's full without odor issues.

Your boat should of came with a toilet like this one.
You can see in the pic that the small hose is the water supply & the big hose goes to the holding tank.
I replaced my 22yr old one last year with this one for $129 bucks.

Me too, and it works fine. Thetford 735 MSD. Only problem is capacity. At 2.5 gallons it doesn't last very long. I'm still debating whether to install a holding tank and plumb in a real flush toilet, or upgrade to a 365 or 465, which have 5+ gallons capacity.
