power outage (no power)

My boat lost all power,will not start,no power is flowing to electronics, Batteries are OK ,I checked the fuses,cleaned the connections,ect. ???<br />maybe starter ?? Any suggestions on what I should<br />check next ?

What boat ? engine ? year ?<br />How did it run last time out ?<br />Is there a circut breaker, with a red button<br />on top of engine ?

If you are 1,000% sure the battery is OK then there may be something wrong with either:<br /><br />1) the main ground cable to the battery<br />2) the main power cable to your battery <br />3) the battery on/off switch <br />4) A main circuit braker (if you have one) <br />5) Your ignition switch<br />6) Other...<br /><br />Those are the things I would focus on eliminating first.<br /><br />You can Jump the on/off switch and use booster cables to connect the negative and pos. to their connection points. If you can, you can also jump or replace the main circuit braker if you have one. You can also make sure you have no broken connections on your key switch and try jumping that as well.<br /><br />After these tests I would then get the schematic and start trying to figure out what one signle point of failure could kill everything.<br /><br />Let me know how you make out.
