Hey Folks,
I had a problem with my '88 90HP Johnson last weekend. It would not fire on one cylinder. I found one of the wires from the power pack to the coil was very corroded. Actually, all of the connectors and boots looked pretty bad, but this one was unreal. I was able to gently remove the connector, cut back the wire and reinstall the connector. It now runs as good as ever.
So, I have a functional power pack with crappy, corroded connectors and boots. Does anyone know if you can buy the coil connectors anywhere? I'd feel a lot better if I could crimp on a whole new set.
