225 EFI, just got it back. Had new reed valve$ installed and while it was there, plugs, thermostat, power tuned,. Compression good, spark good. Took it out about a half dozen times and fine. Last couple of times when getting up I noticed a hesitation but then fine. Monday on way in went to get her going and she just chugged along. Low speeds fine, only when I give her the goose does she labor. Feels like fuel but I really dont know. Starts right up no problem. Also took the prop off recently to take a look. Could I have done something wrong putting it back on. I have done it before.
Any help in diagnosing this problem would be great. I am trying not to get disgruntled after losing two weeks and $$$ with the reed valves.
Thanks

Re: Power problem.

Pull that prop again, double check to ensure that the thrust washer is in place, if it fell off and rolled over against the wall while you putting the prop back on, the prop would try to 'screw' itself forward when in gear, no throttle the more it would try to move forward rubbing against the gearcase/wearing away the from edge of the hub and the corresponding contact point on the gearcase.

Re: Power problem.

I had a liitle panic attack when you mentioned thrust washer but after throwing the kids in car and going to mooring the washer is in place. Everything with the prop looks right. I never noticed before but please tell me a little water behind the prop is normal. Again it is on a mooring with the motor up.
