I bought my first boat a few weeks ago, a '96 Tracker 16' aluminum deep V with a 60 horse Mercury. I want to replace two of the standard pedestals with power pedestals and was wondering what you guys would recommend. I'm just looking at the standard height models with a range of 13" to 20". My boat has the tapered wedge style bases. I'm trying to decide between these two:

The Swivl-Ease model:

The Springfield model:

The Springfield has a three year warranty on the power cylinder but I can't find any warranty info on the Swivl-Ease. Of these two would anyone recommend one over the other as far as product and ride quality?

i have never used the power pedestal, but used the one where it had the pin you could adjust. i've always had good luck with Swivl-ese. not familiar with Springfield.

Swivl-Ease, made by Attwood.
Contact them for warranty length.
I have no use of either, mine are original Gambler whoever they use.
