My 95 Larson 3.0 power steering has a leak at the rack, on what I believe is the low pressure side. Its the closer to the motor side larger fitting on top of the rack that goes from the rack to the cooler. I have replaced the O-ring on the end of the fitting and now its worse, I know the two O-rings are similar in size so it could be the wrong size O-ring but even the old one didn't seem to be worn and leaked. I cleaned out the fitting hole/fitting end before putting it back together. I am a little confused why there is a O-ring if this is a compression fitting. Any suggestions?

its not a compression fitting

its not an SAE inverted flare fitting

it is an o-ring sealed PS fitting

go back and make sure you have the correct o-ring
