Hi everyone!
I have an easy question to ask about the power steering cooler I have in my boat (I/O Yamaha Sterndrive - I bought it non functional).
I am rebuilding the engine and, when cleaning the parts, I noticed that the power steering cooler has at one connection tube (in the steering circuit) a small black round piece of rubber or plastic, which moves inside along with the tube, as I apply some air pressure... I am not certain that it should stay there or not.
I do not want to force it out until I am certain it should not be there... Any suggestions?
BTW, if I blow air in this circuit of the cooler, the air barely pass through... Is it normal?
Best regards,
Chris
