I have an 1988 Mercruiser 3.7 with an Alpha One. I have been losing a bit of power steering fluid and was able to track down the leak to the actuator. It is coming from a rubber seal (boot)...not the slit (valve), but is like the boot is not connected. I cannot tell if the boot is torn, but it appears that it is not sealing at all. Can I replace this seal or do a need a new actuator. If I do neet a new actuator where do I find one????? I have seen some that say "newer type" and they appear to be similar.....not the type with quick disconnect.
