'Morning All,

Had the boat out last weekend and the powers steering pump went Tango Uniform. I looked up the replacement (Volvo #388323) and was floored by the cost (over $300). I know it's a Saginaw pump but can't seem to find any type of cross reference or part number interchange. Anyone know the automotive replacement # for this particular pump?

The Boat is a 2001 Four Winns Horizon 180, 4.3GLPEFS engine with an SX outdrive.

Any help would be appreciated.

I believe it is late model gm pump. People say buy a $40 at auto parts place and swap reservoir and pressure relief valve and your golden. It has been discussed a lot on another boating forum, can I post links to another site here?

Hate to sound picky, but any idea what year or vehicle? I have tried taking a part into my local Auto Zone to match up before, you could see the smoke coming out of their ears. If they can't look it up on the computer they can't seem to find it.
