2003 180lx Stingray with the 3.0 Liter Mercruiser.
Last year the power steering pump acquired a crack in the reservoir near one of the mounting bolts - I attributed this to a tech over tightening the mounting bolt - I purchased a salvage unit locally swapped the reservoirs and was back in action.
Last week, the unit is leaking again and I'm now thinking that the unit is not installed correctly or the previous owner swapped out a bracket or something. Here are some pictures of the unit:

If you look close in one of the pics the bolt has an 1/8 space between the bracket and the washer - there is a metal spacer and I added an extra washer in there so it wouldn't put too much pressure on this point. Is the unit installed correctly?
