power steering

I have a 88 sea ray sevill with a 4.3 merc. I need to replace the power steering pump but have no clue how to do it can anyone help me?

Are you sure the pump is bad? Does it leak? Most power steering problems I see are caused by the cable or actuator. Many times removing the cable from the tube on the transom hsg and cleaning/lubing the cable end/tube will fix it.
