Power Tilt and Trim Adjustment

Hello, We just got our homemade boat out on the water yesterday, but the 85 hp force motor 1987-1986? is tilted to far up. We mounted the tilt and trim so that the mounting brackets are straight up and down. But it needs to be tilted down about 10 more degrees. Is this possible, is there any adjustment?<br /><br />Thanks

No adjustment that I know of.<br />Most boats have a negative angle built into the transom.

You could build up (thicken) the top outside part of your transom for gaining a negative camber for the motor.
