power tilt on mercruiser 3.0 shoots fluid

I have a 1980 mercrusier 3.0 when I lift the outdrive everything works fine untill its lifted fully then after it reaches the top fluid shoots out of what appears to be the bottom left corner if your faceing the stern. It stops fine at both the top of the trim limit and at the top of the up but squirts fluid. I have checked all the connections on the hoses and felt around for a plug of some sorts that may be leaking but all I feel are what appears to be screws or bolts that attach the bottom plate to the resivour. Also after about 2 days time the outdrive has slowly crept from the top to all the way down. Any one else have any of these problems or any suggestions to help. Thanks in advance.
