Will a 1976 Evinrude 200 hp TNT work on a 1979 Johnson 70 hp?

I picked one up but I would like to know if it will work before I pull the engine.

The only numbers I find on the unit are (26 1K),(B 33 B),(38 1) It is a 3 wire motor and is rusty. The unit itself is not in to bad of shape.

Are the units rebuildable? What do I need to make it work like relays ?
