power trim reservoir - mustard yellow :(
I thought it was like a chocolate brown, so I decided to extract it to find its a mustard yellow (and has been for a while, whole reservoir is tinted yellow, I haven't even owned the boat for a full year) was even thick and hard to extract

now what :(((((((

had same thing, get as much out as you can and then replace with new fluid. i initially thought i had no leaks, but after i swapped out the thick mixed fluid for new fluid and cycled the drive up and down a few times, i let it sit for 2 days and found 1 of the braided lines had a slow leak... tightened the line and been good ever since

ok, that is good news. a little relief....
all is out...new fluid in.

braided line...on the outside? has to be right for water to funnel in

i'll look to tighten whatever I can find

nothing loose - no drips in the garage either. not sure how water is getting in there

If the boat is on a trailer, have someone operate it full up and down while you closely examine each of the external ss lines for the slightest amount of fluid leaking out.

That's how I found a compromised host on my Maxum that was leaking.

Swapped fluid. Now it's back to a mustard yellow.
Besides changing the 4 outside braided lines.... Anything else I should be investigating?
