My down relay blows every time I replace. It will last several hours then blow (hot to touch). I have loosened/cleaned/re-tightened all ground wires as previously suggested. I see no leakage from hydraulic system and engine holds position for days (no leak ?) Fluid level is full. I would like to check actual motor for drawing in to much power (30 amp relay). Its a two wire configuration (blue / Green). I'm Very mechanical / Not so electrical !!! I have a volt meter and would like to verify that Hydraulic motor is my problem, prior to buying.. How would i check what motor is drawing? Ground on engine and touch wire while activating switch?? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If i change relays, the up will not work and down does work.. I've replaced relay 3 times, but it continues to blow!
