Power trim/tilt

A friend has got a 1991 Evinrude 55hp on a runabout that does not have power trim and tilt. Can this be fitted to this motor and what needs changing.<br />Thanks John

Hi John....<br /><br />Yes a TNT unit can be fitted to the engine. The OEM unit will set in where the present tilt damper cylinder sets. Or you can get generic type built by CRC. Check iboats store. I think they carry them. This unit requires the motor being lifted off the transom for installation.<br /><br />Keep us posted.

john45 look at this and prices won't be any better. I ordered me one and am eagerly waiting its arrival CMC tilt and trim
