I have a small leak right at the cylinder of the power trim. It looks like it is coming from the threads. Will it hurt anything to put some pipe thread tape on the threads?<br /><br />Pastor Mark
Won't hurt, won't help. The hydraulic presssure is too great. The threads aren't the seal. There's on O-ring on the cap. You can get a whole O-ring kit, or stop by your friendly neighborhood hardware store and match one up. They're nothing special. Many hardware stores have O-ring assortments.
