powerhead machine work needed

I live in Maryland-southern Md to be exact. I have talked to numerous dealers around me. There is no good machinists around here. There is one near me that botched a v4 crossflow(punched out the wrong hole and when he punched out the correct hole, it only needed .010 to fix it. It came back to me with a .064 wiseco piston needed to fill the hole.). Bottom line is this..................nobody near me that does reputable work. I have a contact that Emdsapmgr gave me. But he is in Georgia. Is there anyone closer to me that does good work? I have a v6 crossflow that will need at least 2 holes cleaned up. Anybody know anyone closer? Costs?

Being from the south there's two good ones down here. River Side marine in Little Rock Ark and Flag Ship marine in Punta Gorda Fl.

Lashelle Engine Restoration Freeport Illi think the # is 815 821 3546. they bored out my 60 degree looper v4 very nicely.good luck... I am sure there are a few qualified people...you just need some references and to find them! the MOST important thing, it to make dang sure you don't get a bad one!!!!!bob

Exactly BOB!! Unfortunately, I had to find out the hard way. When my 112 dies and I know it will, I'll have to get a sleeve put in the .064 hole and bore the others out. ALl the others are stock with stock pistons and that one is a wiseco. I put 135 heads on it(that was always my plan) to bring up compression. The 3 holes has really good compression(135 plus). The wiseco was around 160. I checked it numerous times too. Everyone thanks for the input. If nobody else chimes in with some closer references, I guess I'll be calling one of the above shops.
