I have twin 1997 yamaha 225hp sws carbbed motors. The counter rotation motor has a hole in the block. I found a 1992 225hp for sale. Will this powerhead swap out or are there modifications that need to be done. Is the lower unit the only thing that makes a motor a counter rotation? In other words if I had 2 standard rotation motors and I swapped a lower unit for a counter lower would I have motors I can run as twins?
