well fellas I took powerhead pulled crank and pistons 1 piston was gouged and all the bottom rings were seized on one side of piston 😡 gonna have motor mic tomorrow cylinders looked ok but I’ll find out rear bearing was bad 🤬 so I sure hope block is ok 🙏🏻 So is it worth it to rebuild ? At least I know it’s fresh

also it’s gonna be hard to see if it leaked water any where with out put back together

If bottom bearing was bad and allowed slop , the reed blocks need to be looked at as excessive play will wear the labyrinth seal machined into them.

The reed blocks allow fresh air / fuel into the crankcase.-----Then the reeds close to keep it in there to be compressed.--------The reed blocks keep the crankcases separated.------Done with close fitting sealing grooves.-----Known as a labarinth seal.------Take the reed blocks off the crank to find those grooves.

only thing I can think of is water might have backed up through exhaust is this possible?
