Powerheat removal ? 72 Johnson 50 HP

I need to remove my powerhead have never done it before. The manual is not detailed on this. Motor its mounted on my boat, not on its side. if i just unbolt the powerhead can i lift it off, or will remaining lower portion of the motor become unstable? It looks like its supported somehow back in the powerhead.

Once you get all the bolts and wires and stuff off, it will just lift straight up and off. The rest of it will not fall apart.

Thanks for the info, i took all the stuff off including the bolts, and the powerhead does not budge is there a trick to this?

It does look like there is a big vertical pin that goes down through the powerhead at the front that has to come out, the manual does not have anything on this: confused:
