powering up a 20' party barge with a 100hp o/b

Gonna try to put a 100 hp evinrude O/B on a 20 foot aloha party barge. I'm trying to brace the transom but need some advice. My toons are 20 inch round. What do you think? Good idea or bad? The back of the boat will probably squat a bit, can I add any flotation ? like a pontoon in the center and if so can you recommend a place to buy a new or used toon for the center? Will be waiting fo rhelp, Tim

webb...I have 24 inch tubes and only rated at 80. On 20 inch tubes I think you may be playing with fire on that 100. Rather than try and brace the transom and then add a tube to help keep affloat why dont ya trade down (in HP) and use the extra money + the money saved to purchase a toy for that toon. After all someone did rate that toon based on some fact's and not just for kicks.
