Got some problems when assembling the engine .
Got my hand of a power tilt unit on EBay , got the unit working , but now I got a question ? how to mount the unit , the trailing lock (oe #307245 ) does block the unit from going all the way down .
Collides with the input nipple on the tilt cylinder .
Does it have to be removed or replaced by an other ,or ??

The tilt unit did come from a 1967 80hp (whitout trailing support (missing , or )).
Re: Powertilt

Droll...remove the trail lock and use a transom saver when trailering. Nice job yer' doin' there.

Re: Powertilt

Ok , I will follow your advice and just remove it .
Did mount the unit without , and it looks much cleaner .

Still some work to do but , if i am going to "waist" money and time , why not do it the right way :)
