Pre-1991 OMC Cobra 5.8 manifolds

I've been searching the net and and various supplier websites for new manifolds for my 1989 OMC Cobra 5.8. There are plenty of 1991 & later manifolds available but the pre-1991 manifolds are pretty much obsolete. The (rear mounted risers) are still available, just not the manifolds.

If I buy the 1991 & later style (center mounted) manifolds & risers, will they line up with my Y-pipe? If not is there an adapter available? What are my options?

I'm pretty sure there is a an adapter, seems I remeber seeing it on e-bay or some web site.

Does anyone know what the difference is between a '83-90 Cobra 5.8 y-pipe and a '91 and newer Cobra 5.8 y-pipe? They have different part numbers, so I'm wondering if they are a different diameter or if they are mounted on a different angle.
