Pre 95 OMC controls on newer o/b

Hi, I just bought a used boat with no power. It came with OMC controls and cables circa 1992-94, they are in pristine condition and I was wondering if they could be used via adapter to a 2000 or newer Johnson/Evinrude 2 stroke. The control also have the power trim and the factory OMC tach and trim gauge are also in place. Here is a picture from ebay that looks like what I've got:

yes there are adapter pig tails to convert, see J/E dealer.
