Pre-Alpha Gimbal Housing Question.

Have an '82 gimbal housing that mates up with a pre-alpha drive (has lifting ring on top). Will a Alpha one, Gen one housing assembly mate up with the pre-alpha drive? "I think" I spun the bearing in the gimbal housing as it come out, still attached, to the drive shaft. Still have to check out more thoroughly to verify that's what happened. Thanks

Thanks Bondo. I'll try and do some checking tomorrow or the next day to see if my housing has to be replaced. The wafered bearing cover was split and it didn't look like there was any grease. I had been greasing the fitting but maybe it was plugged. "Old men with old boats!" What else can be said?
