Pre-Alpha Mercruiser U-Joints

I did a search and couldn't find this answer. Do any of you know if any automotive u-joints are a direct replacement for the mercruiser u-joints? I don't want to spend a ton of money for a "marine" u-joint when it the same as a $15 part on a car. If there is, which year/make/model? My outdrive is a 1974 mercruiser 1.<br /><br />Thanks in advance

They are not a ton of money more. ebasicpower.com has them for 19.95 just a few dollars more.

Take the Ujoints to an automotive outlet, they should be able to match them up.
