So I realized after I filed up the dang res for the trim pump it leaks almost all of it out into the boat just siting. Looks like the screw heads is where it’s comming from do they make a gasket for that? I figure I have to pull the pump off (while wiring new solenoid anyway) then I can clean up the pump head? And replace that gasket if I can find one
Thanks in advance

Which 'pre-alpha'? (there's like 17 of them!)

I assume he has a metal reservoir used on MC1 s or similar of that era prior to the intro of the R, MR, Alpha …

would be good to see a picture of the pump and reservoir so we know what screw is leaking

There are 4, 1/4” 28 hex bolts holding the aluminum valve block to the pump base.
They may even be loose, under the block there are 4 “O”rings and that is where the leak is. The “O” rings can be matched up at any auto store. Put a straight edge across the bolt holes and you will also see that the block is not flat. With a good file, Emory cloth and a flat surface try to get the block as smooth and flat as possible. 75 inch pounds of torque and no more when you re install the block.
