I have a ep-60r fuel flow sensor already to install on a VP 5.7 GXi. It does not appear that I can install after the main filter, so the instructions call for a prefilter. While searching I found that they recommend a 10 micron filter, and most people were using a inline replaceable filter. My question is, do I have to be concerned with max flow rate of the filter? I guess I'm using 15 GPH at WOT, and I can not find flow rates online or at the store for inline filters.
I saw a few posting where they did not use a prefilter and had no problem. Has anyone installed this fuel flow sensor?

Ayuh,... Just hang a typical canister gas filter in front of it...
Same as the 1 before the fuel pump...

Re: prefilter for fuel flow sensor

Thanks Bondo, This has a pump in the tank, and from what I have read I was concerned with restricting the flow at WOT, maybe increasing the pressure on the pump. I installed it without cutting the original fuel line in case I have any trouble, I can just remove the filter/sensor and get home.
