Absolutely not!!

ETEC technology injects the fuel directly into the cylinder. Oil is separately supplied to the turning parts.

Thanks JB,

I didn't think so.

Anyone know the part number for the oil reservoir that I will need to use for the oil supply which should have the float and harness attached. I will be using for a 2007 E-tec 250.

Thanks JB and boobie, what are your thoughts of a 2007 Etec 250 with 800 hours or possibly a little more?

Re: Premixing fuel/oil in a 250 Etec

Get a BRP dealer to read the motor history with a laptop. It will tell all about the motor's past and shouldn't cost too much compared to the risk of not knowing. E-tecs are great motors ... I have a pair of 175's that are easily the best motors I've ever owned.

I'm waiting for someone to come here and tell us they ran their E-Tec on premix and now it doesn't run anymore! Gas never goes thru the crankcase on E-Tecs, so the bearings would all have a life span measured in minutes, maybe hours, but not days.
