I have read the above sticky about this, and have gathered all the needed parts to build a pressurizer/tester to check my drive for leaks... I got everything that I need and build one...

But, i am having a problem finding a fitting/adapter that hooks up to the dipstick or drain plug...

Im sure that plenty of people on here have made them, so perhaps some could please point me in the right direction? What exactly would i call it and what size would it be?

Every auto parts store that I go to, they look at me like i am speaking an alien language to them....

Someone please help me!?

Buy one of these and just rob the fitting...

I just had an extra on laying around and its what I used to build mine. Works perfect...

You could also take the drain screw to a hardware store and match up the threads.

@ Alpheus, is that fitting the size that will fit the dipstick or drain plug on the aq270 volvo drive?

@ Piratepast, I have, i've brought it to 2 hardware stores and 2 auto part stores.... everyone looks at me like i am speaking another language to them! Driving me nuts!

might one of you fellows know the exact size of the drain bolt or dipstick off the top of your head?

Is it 3/8 coarse?

3/8-16 national coarse thread

Volvo uses a 1/2-13 national course thread...
