Pressure washing the engine room

I just finished the floor repair on my Galaxy 199.Since a lot of grinding and sanding took place ,a film of sticky dust accumulated on the engine and trim pump surfaces I consider pressure washing the entire engine room.Any potential hazards or recomendations?Thank you!

I do my entire engine and bilge area.Never had any problems.One tip is to let the engine run a bit afterwards so it will dry out.Let the engine hatch open on a sunny day as well.
