I have a 115 merc (1980) and at 1000 to 1100 rpm my water pressure gague reads around 11 pounds, at 1500 it goes to 13 to 14 pounds...as I increase throttle obviously it continues to go up.<br />Is this good pressure?

Falker when you change the impeller check it real good for missing pieces, the pressures you are reporting seem high and you may have a piece of old impeller in the water path restricting the flow.
