Where can I get a NEW one... thanks ... I don't have the know how to convert the engine into a fuel pump and every article is like reading korean for me....cant find one :facepalm:
I've never seen a new one for sale but restored and used ones appear frequently on ebay, craigslist and the like. The classified ads on aomci.org often have them listed as well. There are also still parts available for replacing gaskets etc. of the old tanks. Prices for pressure tanks can be rather inflated. They are not as rare or hard to find as some sellers may lead you to believe. You just might have to look for a bit.
Ebay will be your best chance. Search for "jonhson evirude gas tank" without the " ". Know what you are looking for and look at the pictures carefully. You are more likely to find a reasonable price by omitting the words pressure tank from your search. Somewhere in the neighborhood of $50 plus actual shipping is about as good as you will do unless you get lucky. A dry rotted hose is easy to replace but make sure you get the female motor end connecter as they by themselves sometimes sell for up to $30.
