Re: price of boat

Its very hard to put a price on a boat that old. I would guess anywhere from FREE on up to whatever you are willing to pay. I looked at a 16' Johnson with a 120 hp yesterday that is in very good and super clean condition and the seller is asking $1000 or best offer and this boat has been for sale for a long time now.I would go to ebay and find similar boats and see what they sold for.

Hard to say without seeing the boat because the only thing that really matters in a boat like this is condition. If there are no issues with the hull and the engine runs good it should be worth a $1000 even if the interior is ragged out. If the floor and transom are solid, seats are good, equipment is updated etc., it could be worth three of four times that.

Need more info...how long, what type, how is the trailer? You get the picture. I looked at a mid eighties Ebbtide Dynamark 15' fish & ski for a friend last week. Boat is in OK condition...strong motor (90 Evinrude), good trailer, average interior. Guy is asking $2500 OBO & it has been sitting in his yard for a couple of weeks now. I'm sure if you offered him 2K he would snatch it out of your hand.
